Use of Magic ActEdit
Due to the prevalence of magic and magi in the Magocracy of Dalaran some common law regulations were expanded upon to include the use of magic as part of the crime. The act defines offensive magics as any spell or magic item that when used could directly or indirectly cause harm to another person or another persons property.
Assualt with Offensive MagicsEdit
One is guilty of Assualt with Offensive Magics if:
I. one uses offensive magics to cause injury, directly or indirectly, to another person, when use is not in reasonable self-defense or
II. one uses offensive magics to cause injury to, or the death of a familiar owned by another person, when use is not in reasonable self-defense.
Disorderly Magic UseEdit
One is guilty of Disorderly Magic Use if:
I. one is in a public space and attempts to use magic in a way that would cause harm to others or
II. one is in a public space and uses magic in a way that would cause harm to others or
III. one uses magic to distract those around them with intent to commit a crime or
IIII. one uses magic to distract those around them and causes harm to others.
One is guilty of Magical Hindrance if:
I. one uses magic to distract Dalaranian Enforcers of the Law from their duties or
II. one uses magic to detain Dalaranian Enforcers of the Law from their duties.
III. one distracts or detains Data rani an Enfield of the Law from their duties.
IV. one interferes with another ministry's jurisdiction in a manner that harms said ministry's functionality or assets without legal consent from the chancellory.
